Hey guys! Anyway, HAPPY SOON NEW YEAR!! It's crazy how one year has gone by so quickly, and I don't want 2013 to end :(

2013 has been an absolutely amazing year! I really thank Jesus for this year. He has blessed me so much through people and I cannot ask for a better year! Looking back on life, out of the past 17 years I've lived (16.5 years lah lol), this would be the BEST year. Thank God (TG) for placing me in a course that I enjoy. When I first received my O's results, I was quite confused and wasn't sure which route (jc/poly) would be the best for me and I think I must have been quite mad to put JCs as my top 2 choices. But since God always has a plan for me, I believe His plan is the best and I cannot ask for a better course than my current course! TG for seeing me through the insanity of MCM (mass comm), it's been a wild journey - coping with all the assignments and tests as well as hanging out with friends hah! Also, really blessed to have all my new friends made in poly, especially the ones I'm closer to, you know who you are! I definitely haven't forgot my PL girls, favourite girls of all time! TG we're still close even though we rarely meet up but when we do it's madness! Missing them so much can't wait for the next time I meet them! TG for YAH and the church mates! I think this year was the year of growing closer to each other and what better way to grow in the love of Christ! Blessed :)

TG for gadgets hah! Coming into MCM meant that we had (more advised) to get laptops, I did had a laptop which was really slow but TG my mum upgraded it so now I can blog without worrying my laptop will crash on me! Since this course also has photography modules, my mum decided to get me Maximus, my new camera! With this, I can now get AD for my digpho hahaha! Just last week, I casually mentioned to my father I was thinking about Xbox and maybe getting it as a gift next year then since he had vouchers to use, he got the family an Xbox. I'm like, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? So now, my family has been playing dance central almost everyday haha! Blessed :)

Some of you may know I went to Hawaii in September with my grandma, but without my family (hehe, there's the fun part) but there's more behind-the-scenes. I actually planned to go even before poly started, but the ticket pricings were quite high and I had kinda given up hope that I would go there this year. Miraculously, about 1-2 weeks before mid-Sept, the tickets got slightly cheaper and well my mother booked a ticket for me! It was an all-expenses-paid-for trip, I did spend my own money too but majority was paid for by my mother. Thus, TG so much for my mum! She really provided so much for me this year and I think I am truly blessed by her! :)

I think there are many other things I thank God for this year, but most of all I thank God for Him. I thank Him for seeing me through all my downs and ups, for being there when I need someone I can pour my heart out to. Thank you Jesus for Your love, I am able to love because of You :) This has been a good year of growth in Christ and I can't wait to grow even more in 2014 spiritually and also in height even though I know I can't grow anymore haha!

Praying that 2014 will be a year of positive influence (me to peers) and that I can bring my friends closer to Christ! ^^ Hope I'll continue staying close to people I'm close to and that friendships won't fade away (because that's the last thing I want to happen..) Also pray that in 2014, I can grow closer to my family! Really hope my results can be better too! Aiya, just pray that 2014 will be as awesome as 2013! Here's to 2013 and all the great memories you've been terrific love you! ^^

You can love someone so much, but you can never love people
as much as you can miss them - John Green

This has been a rather rough period for me. Personal problems and floods of emotions, it's been insane. But I thank God for bringing me through, for carrying me on His shoulders thus only that 1 pair of feet on the seashore. I'm trying to remember now (constantly) that Christ will be my anchor. It's difficult to trust men because men will fail, but Christ won't fail. Really blessed to have received a devotion book this Christmas, because I haven't been consistent in doing my devos so hopefully I will have more diligence in 2014 haha! Got myself 'Captivating' so it's another good read for the upcoming year! I still haven't finished reading 'Jesus Is' and I now have that book plus another Christian book to read. TOO MANY GOOD BOOKS FOR 2014!

This Christmas was a good Christmas. A few of us YFers performed this year during service, we sang a couple of songs and I think the church found it refreshing for that change. I believe to make a change in the church, all we gotta do is to be that change. I remember telling my friends last time that I'm going to make a difference in my youth and that's going to be one of my goals for 2014, well all this with God's help :) Got to catch up with my childhood friends too as well as my relatives. I think I am extremely blessed because even though I have a small family and I would also say small circles of friends, but these few groups of people have made a difference in my life (positive ones definitely) this year and I'm very sure they are placed in my life for a reason. Thank you Jesus for placing them in my life! ^^

Sigh pie, Christmas is gonna take another approximately 365 days to come and I'm gonna miss Christmas so much! That unexplainable warmth in the air (ok literally warmth too hahaha), that contagious joy, meeting up with friends before the year ends, celebrating my Dad's birthday which happens to fall on Christmas Eve (coolest dad 4eva), but most importantly, remembering Christ's birth. If Christ wasn't born, I don't think I'll have a purpose in life for real. Where would I/we be if not for Jesus? BIG THANKS AND CLAPS FOR J-E-S-U-S, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE! ^^

Ho ho ho everyone! Oh my goodness, it's been so long since I last came in here, sorry sorry :( I've been really really busy ever since school ended till now! I am super thankful for the holidays!

Well, school ended on a good note! I had this filming project, and I'm really thankful my entire family helped me to act! By the way, it's not easy to find talents to act for your projects if you think so, kinda had a hard time finding mine! Nonetheless, really thank God that everything went smoothly and I'm really blessed to have this team to work with! :) (kinda missing a few of our talents and crew)
School has been awesome! It's Christmas and it's also the holidays but I really miss my friends so much! :( Thank God for blessing me with this company this sem! Time is really passing quickly, just about 2 more months with them and we're gonna be changing classes again. To be honest, I'm tired of changing classes. As much as I like making new friends, I get tired of having to make new friends and have yet another whatsapp group hah! Then old friends tend to fade away as the new ones come in, and since class changes every 6 months, aiya you get my point, it's just tiring. But I have faith that the friends God place in my life won't fade away and will be there for me xxx
black society (it was coincidentally black friday!)
medsoc debate team! really did a good job :)
chill night out ^^
last friday of the 1st half of the sem, red red red for Christmas! :)
chill afternoon at town merry Christmas guys! ^^

Celebrated birthdays with the gang too gosh I miss them so much! It was such an awesome night out, just laughing away with them and getting high from coffee haha bunch of loonies on the loose! Went back to PL today for a short while and I got pretty nostalgic. Okay, shan't start reminiscing now haha because I know it can go on and on... Love you girls <3
YF camp ended last Thursday, and I'm really thankful this camp got me thinking about my abilities and how I can use it for God's purpose! Each of us have gift(s) from God, it's a matter of when we realise we have that ability! Guess a takeaway lesson from this camp would be to try to always remember who is the Giver for these gifts and be thankful for them! Had loads of fun with my group Cherith, especially for special programme! It was really an awesome 5 days 4 nights! <3

Sidenote, if you haven't caught Frozen, PLEASE GO CATCH IT! It's a fantastic festive movie! I watched it twice hahaha, I am utterly in love with Disney! I wanna go back to Disneyland and cuddle all the characters and take pretty photos with the princesses :) Christmas is the best time of the year! I was walking down Orchard just now and I really love the peaceful feeling of Christmas (ironically it was super crowded just now and I hate crowds) but Christmas just gives me that nice warm fuzzy feeling and I want to throw snow around and take loads of photographs wearing nice coats! Sadly, this is Singapore and we don't get to experience winter. Oh well, still really excited for Christmas (service) and I hope all of you are enjoying this wonderful period too! :*
lol thick-skinned me missing winter overseas

32 more days till Christmas everybody! Wow, today's already 22nd November, the year is almost coming to an end! :( I think it's really crazy how time is passing by so quickly now. As usual I've been so busy with school. Sorry ah, most of my posts I'm just blabbering about how busy I am with school and all.

I love photography. I wouldn't say my photos are extremely pretty but I guess they're passable lah. Every moment once captured on camera, is a moment that can never be done again. Even if people try to re-enact the scene, it's just a different 'vibe' and it's impossible to reproduce. I guess that's what I really love about photography. It just captures moments that will be lost forever. It helps you to remember the times you spend with a person or your close friends. I just love it a lot. I think most of you would know that MCM has a module called Digital Photography. It's one of my favourite modules! But it has taken up so much of my time and effort. For my 1st assignment, I had to take 10 photos each of nature/man-made and you can't just take 10 photos, you have to take like 100 over photos and select 10 from it. So I've been going to places like Botanic Gardens, MBS, Henderson Waves and it's a burden! But through this, I've come to realise that Singapore is actually really pretty. There are many nice buildings but many of us don't bother to take notice. I'm just amazed by the beauty of this little red dot recently haha! I'll post more pretty photos after I'm done with my assignment :)
i think this photo is super cute :)

Hello friends! Wow, it's been super long again since I last posted :( Don't have much patience to sit down and pen my thoughts every few days sigh, but then again school has been tiring! We have been having tests already booooo and there's so much to start studying for our upcoming tests! But I must say, my friends and classmates have definitely played a huge part in helping me get by each day. If you guys see this, know that I love all of you :*

I would say LIFE has been pretty fun and interesting lol! Had a field trip last week to the Botanic Gardens for our digital photography module. It was super fun lah! :) Haven't been there since forever, and it was really good to just get back to nature and remember God's beautiful creation! We spent like 15-20 minutes taking photos of ducks and swans -.- It's so difficult to get a perfect shot! As much as I love taking photographs, after a while, all the leaves and flowers look the same to me and I think the entire class got restless and we just started taking photos of ourselves haha! Sadly, this is the only field trip we have for this module. If we want a field trip, guess we gotta organise one ourselves which I'm guessing would be quite troublesome! :o And can you believe I got a tan from going there? NO KIDDING OKAY. I came home and realised my shoulders were red, so I'm loving my tan now hehe :) Need to get just a little more tan now!
Explored the Bukit Timah forest with Renee and XJ too, please don't ever go in after a rainy day and please remember to bring mosquito repellent. It was quite cool exploring, very peaceful and if you're looking to take photos of bees on flowers, that's the perfect place for you because there are many bees too. Did a silly inta video so if you're following me, do watch it (lol free advertisement...) Thanks Renee for the photos too! ^^
O levels ended today for my juniors who took combined sciences. Reminds me of when I finished my papers last year and went crazy after school. Miss my J8 too :( Sighs. I kinda yearn to go back to PL for one day, just one day is enough, wear my uniform and my prefects tie (lol lol lol) and rush down for recess and run for the bus after school and hug my friends along the corridor and go to the toilet and slack and spray distilled water at James and do flag-raising (Singapore flag hor...) during assembly and occasionally get scolded for my socks and play captains ball and scare my friends with Li Ann. The list goes on. I'm just missing PL suddenly and I gotta go back to studying so bye.. :(
