Hello friends! Well, camp has ended sigh pie. I definitely didn't get to experience the whole camp this year, and I do feel a little that this is a bad camp for me because I had to go back to school and still do my school work at camp. But nonetheless, it was a really good one week spent at church!

Despite a very distracted heart, I feel that this camp was a good reminder for me to realign my priorities and what Jesus really is all about. I think that's the unique thing about Christianity, because it's not a religion, it's a relationship with someone special :-) Aiming to really focus on Jesus next year and in whatever I do (be it making decisions or just going about doing stuff in my daily activities), Jesus will be number one :-)

Camps are good at making people come together and really bond more, but sadly camps are only annual affairs. Really happy there were new friends who could join us this year and they enjoyed themselves loads! Kudos to the games comm because the games were 99% safe this year haha! Oh well, I'll just let the photos talk about the fun we had at camp :-)

We're nearing the end of the school term! Just 1 more week... So how's everyone? Hope you're feeling alright and not too drained out from all the work you have to complete! Had my interview for my internship yesterday, not gonna disclose where I'm going but if you wanna know more you can always come and ask me hehe! Until I get the results then I shall write it down! I've been so exhausted with school, there's so much work I need to get completed over the holidays, and it doesn't seem much like a holiday either.. Sobs and sobs until my eyes dry out :-( But really thankful God has provided me strength and energy daily!

YF Camp is just a few days away! Kinda bumped how I'll still be having school during camp so I have to travel to and fro everyday :-( But nonetheless, CAMP!! This year's theme of camp is 'Follow Jesus' and over the previous YF comm meeting, they were talking about what it means to follow Jesus. As in, do we want YFers to follow what He did or follow His being? So for myself, I want to follow His being. To be a person who's presence is welcoming and wanted, yet isn't intimidating but is a comfort to those around. To be a person who loves the unloved and accepts everyone despite whoever they are. To go forth and spread the word and be a good testimony and preach it! I know words are just words and it's super difficult to put them to action, but I'm going to try my very best! Goal for 2015 :-)

Many things have happened (and many photos long overdued...) over the past 2 months? Monthly cafe meals with the twins, DG outing, Team Cambodia dinner at Kevin's zi-char shop (hahaha it was awesome there were like 8 courses?), Halloween-A'Levels Candy Prep for JC kids, Grandaunty + Granduncle's Ruby Anniversary and just chilling with friends at school and church~~~ Can't really remember any other events but here's the way way overdued photos!

Oh my goodness, school hasn't been a joke. I've been having at least 1 submission each week, for this week there are 2 submission on Friday and it's been exhausting, hence no updates at all here :'( I fell sick over the weekend and it was so horrible. I had to complete work but I was just so tired and didn't have any mood at all.. Sobs and cries so much~~

We had our internship preference ranking choice completed a few weeks ago, and I'm really just putting my faith in God on where I'm gonna go. I did put into consideration not to burn my weekends because I really don't wanna miss church! I'm really hoping I do get into radio, because it's really one of my top favourite modules and I enjoy talking so much haha! Radio internships won't allow us to go on air but I don't care, it'll be so awesome to get to go for events and be part of a radio station! :-)

The twins and I have just recently (like yesterday lol) been welcomed to join YF comm and be a leader in YF! It's really exciting to be a leader, but yet it scares me. I know how I always encourage my peers who are becoming leaders in their own youths, to not be afraid because of their age and not let anyone look down on them (1 Timothy 4:12). But somehow I cannot apply this verse to myself. It's like my knowledge isn't there and it's so freaky because now I'll have to make decisions for a subcomm (like the overall decision). But I'm really thankful for this opportunity because this subcomm that I'll be taking (Mercy Ministry) is kinda like CIP, but it's more like an avenue for YFers to be involved in the community while bearing in mind the purpose of it in a Christian perspective. Quite excited for next year, I do have a small plan on what I wanna do for YF through this ministry, but idk what I'm gonna do for next year... Nonetheless, change is gonna come next year and who knows, maybe change is good!

Sorry this is so so boring and full of words I cannot stand it too, but I promise I'll try to upload photos soon :( This sem is killing me I don't like to code or write I just want to sleep in bed and watch friends all day everyday~ 保重朋友们!

This was typed the night I came home from tennis but I was too tired to transfer photos hence the late update! LIVE TENNIS IS AWESOME :-)

Great first day back at school! Well I was half-looking forward to heading back to school because of my friends but I was most excited about the night of the first day of school haha! Don't think I went to some club or party because I obviously didn't... Dad had 4 free tickets to the first day of WTA Finals!! Even though it was exhausting and I'm super sleepy because I woke up at 630am for school and tennis was only at night, it was totally worth it!

This being the first day of all the matches, we got to see Li Na serve the first ball and wow she's really tall! Quite humorous too :-) Seeing UsTheDuo live was another once in a lifetime experience! I didn't know they were gonna perform tonight and I was stoked to watch them! They are so cute, holding hands as they entered the court to their instruments hehe! Their voices are amazing and to hear them live compared to the limited 7-seconds on Vine is wow haha! Highlight of the night was definitely Ivanovic VS Williams match! Firstly, Ivanovic is super duper pretty and thanks to Dave's binoculars, we all got to see her stunning body! It's every girl/lady's dream body, super toned! Plus point for her tan too :-) Some parts of the match were pretty intense and we were just screaming and cheering like mad haha! Oh yeah before I forget, PLA and James came too! So yup put 3 crazy girls together and you just get a whole lot of psycho haha! Good match overall by both players and I just have to say that Ivanovic is really WOOOWWW~~~

Really glad PLA and James could come! It's always a good time when you go watch tennis with tennis lovers and go mad, even more mad when it's with your favourite people! Pretty sure Dave had a good time laughing at and with us too, especially with laughing at the umpire's pronunciations HAHA! Thank God for this night and for daddy to even get the free tickets in the first place! Made some new friends tonight too, Dave's friends lah and they're really cool national athletes... So much swag and so fit, then there's lazy sloths like me who attempt to keep fit but always fail HAHA!
always bring one pair to games/concerts it's very handy!
ana ivanovic + serena williams!!!!
awesome company for the night! :-)

Ho mai it's been long since this space has been updated sorry! Well just about 2 days left till crazy year 2 continues.. Guess I'm really chilling my butt off this holiday hah! Thank God for this really lepak time and being able to catch up with people!

Celebrated Chung Chung's birthday right after coming back from Cambodia hah! This birthday was really a fast game! Planned out what we were gonna do in Cambodia and the execution was quick! The Monday after we landed, we went out to get her present. Spent her birthday eating ramen and surprising her with cake while she was asking for her book in Kino and also surprising her at her house at night! Hahaha that gundu girl was so shocked when we were outside her house! I think she's blessed to have me as a friend ;) because we've really grown much closer from the trip and her love for Christ is really power! Blessed 18th girl, Hipsters love you <3
Managed to meet up with PLA too again and wow, surprised we managed to catch up once more before school starts! Hehehe girl talks... Went out with Delia too, kinda impromptu catch up session! Really glad the worship playing for Fiona's wedding went alright, considering I didn't manage to rehearse much because I was away! This seems to sort of be the church's worship band already haha! :)
I'm helping out for this year's Sunbeam Kindergarten's concert. Initially I was dreading it a little because it's just a little sian to wake up early to go for the rehearsal even though it's just 2 days hah! But I must say once I saw the kids, all my frustrations were gone because they really made my days! It's such a joy being surrounded by kids and to hear them sing and all their cutie faces ahhhh~~~ I never went for a Sunbeam concert but I think I'm really gonna start coming for it in subsequent years!
Had Hipsters picnic by the bay 2 evenings ago and it was really a change from the usual picnic spots haha! Chilled by the waters outside MBS as we gazed at the city lights... Stayed over at Chung's house that night and I can't believe we played UNO and the rummy card game until almost midnight! Oh my goodness I will never ever recommend 'Mortal Instruments: City of Bones' to anyone, it was such a horrible movie. 4 hao said he wanted to watch it for Lily Collins and when it ended Boon and I were so frustrated the movie took up 2 hours of our night... It's such a bad movie plus it's SciFi ew. So to make up for the frustration and discomfort, we watched Freaky Friday but I ended up falling asleep because I was really too exhausted heh heh. And so this late late night, or should I say morning, ended us having to wake up at noon the following day! This was really a super chill sleepover and having lunch together at a dining table as compared to one at a restaurant, gave me the really homey feeling. You know that feeling of waking up and seeing that one person in the morning and how you just get that warm fuzzy feeling in you and smile? Try that times 4. Waking up to these people I love so much really makes me so thankful for them! They're really family :-)
