Yoohoo~~ It's a public holiday tomorrow yay time off school! We're only halfway through the week, hold on to the night ok! I don't think I'm making much sense.. Everything has been alright so far I guess. I don't understand some of my lectures so really praying that I'll try to be more alert in class because sometimes the lectures can be really dry and I just switch off. Either that or, my friends always bully me and distract me haha!

Well, I've got Greyson Chance's 'Hold On Till The Night' stuck in my head tonight haha! Time to go do some revision ugh year 2. I miss SMU pasta too. 

Week 1 of school is over woohoo~~~ Well technically it was over since Thursday as I didn't have IS class on Friday but yay 7 more weeks to go before the June hols! :) Had such great past few days hahaha I don't even know where to start! Classes have been pretty alright lah, I'm praying that I'll be more focused in class and I'll try my best to keep up because sometimes I tend to zone out and go do my own stuff sigh pie. But yup, everything is okay so far!

Met up with my Pompeii kias for dinner on Thursday, oh it's been so long since we all got together! Really miss them loads and it was awesome seeing them once again! It wasn't a full strength dinner, and to be honest I doubt there will ever be a dinner with full strength but I'm thankful to those who took time off their busy schedules to come dinner with us haha! Headed down to the atas SMU pasta the Tea Party Cafe further down school to just chill with the barkers. Not barker boys hor, the woof woof 4 hao barkers. Really miss having them in class it's like a part of me isn't me when I don't shout at someone to stop barking everyday haha!

Friday was Daryl-day! Planned a pretty epic surprise for his belated birthday with hipsters and it was a success yayyyy! :) Really love hanging out with them sigh pie I miss them so much. Watched Scream 4 with them and I screamed... Ahh, birthdays just make me (and everyone) so happy! Can't wait for the next birthday celebration! :) AMK kids of FMS met up for dinner-supper too, they're really very cute haha! Hopefully it'll become a monthly thing (guys weekly really hard because we're gonna be busy!) but yay for AMK!

First day back at school. Year 2 is so not like year 1. No more time to play or fool around, it's time to get serious. I don't want to get serious. Sigh pie apple pie. Lectures were pretty alright, just that I think I zoned out at some points hah! Other than that, I think I'm gonna like lectures because I get to use my Mr Midnight notebooks HAHAHA! I'll get a photo of them the next time, they're really cool ok ;) Really glad to be back with all my friends, it's great seeing all the familiar faces in school once more and I'm pretty excited to meet my new class too! I was obviously stoked to meet my hipsters :) 

I'm not going to fear year 2, whom (or what) shall I fear for the God of angel armies will always be by my side! :) Here's to hopefully a manageable and good week ahead. Press on! By the way, I'm so excited for SMU pasta tomorrow hehehe :)

More than 2000 years ago, a Man walked this earth. He was a perfect person, blameless and righteous, totally without any fault. He preached to crowds, gathered people to follow His footsteps, did many miraculous wonders and so many other things. All He did was to share the good news and everything He did was not for Himself but for others, some could have possibly thought that "this man is crazy!". His love was so immense but some still chose to reject Him and crucified Him.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

He was sinless but He died for me, He died for us. What love is this? I think I'll never ever be able to comprehend how someone can love everyone so much and is willing to die for us? But praise be to God for this Man who was crucified and nailed to a cross, who had a crown of thorns placed on His head and had nail-pierced hands and feet, is now resurrected and is sitting on the right hand of the Father now! :) I can go on speaking about Him, all the goodness of Him and what He has done so much for me, and I'm pretty sure many others can also testify! For this Man came to save our world, He took on the judgement and the weight and sins of the world and has paid the price for you and me so that now we can live victorious! We don't need to fear any longer and we are now righteous thanks to Him. Thank You Jesus for dying for me 2000+ years ago :) 

So anyway, I've had a pretty good week! Had FBC mass outing to Sentosa on Wednesday and really thank God for good weather! It was very sunny so I got slightly tanner which is kinda good hah! Had a good time getting to know more freshies, ok lah, more friends :) Loving my subtribe too! Hopefully we'll still meet up from time to time to have dinners or something, not just as a subtribe but maybe even as a whole Pompeii!

Had a mini-yf gathering on Friday night and I'm so thankful I got to catch up with my DGLs! Haven't seen them in like forever?? Haha! It was a pretty crazy night but I really love such fellowships :)

So, school is starting again tomorrow. I can't believe I'm already Y2, time to rise up to the occasion and stop being like a kid. Hah, who am I kidding? But yup, it's going to be a whole new challenge and I'm going to let Jesus take the wheel! Gonna miss hipsters loads though :( Hopefully the first day back at school is gonna be a great one! Have a blessed week ahead everybody! :) 

Y00h00! Only about a week left till school reopens :( and then I'm not gonna be a freshie anymore! Ok technically, I'm not a freshie ever since camp started so boooo.. Really gonna miss Y1, won't be able to play as much anymore and my 1st year was just amazing! Y2's gonna be scary and I'm really praying I won't breakdown if I get too stressed and trust that He's gonna make all things alright for me! By the way, I'm really happy I got my first choice for my elective IS module, gonna take Basic Conversational Japanese! :) Quite excited to learn it actually! :)

Thankful I had time to meet my GL Lala on Wednesday for a short catchup session. Brought her to SMU pasta haha! (PS I love SMU pasta) I'm really glad that even though it's been a year ever since FOC, she's one of the people I can still confide in. Went shopping hehehe and I got like 3 tops SO EXCITED TO WEAR IT FOR THE NEW SCHOOL TERM! :) Met up with my lovely Pompeii kias for dinner and gosh, I really treasure these group of friends so much! It's just sweedog when we're all together~~~ Only about 15 of us came and it was already so chaotic, can't imagine when everyone comes together! Gonna have mass outing next week yayyyy!

Met with my Hipsters for dinner yesterday, I can't describe how much I love them! Headed to Daryl's house before dinner and I'm so sad I couldn't stayover :( it's alright, pretty sure there're gonna be more opportunities for me to do so when school starts! Let the bros have their bromance time lah hehe... Had a rare buffet dinner with them and you'll be amazed at how much meat we ate. We had so much beef/pork/chicken I think the waitresses were shocked whenever they cleared our plates haha! This 4 hao kept saying it's our last time being together, I'm sure there will be another time when we can all hang together again but yeah, kinda sad to break up with them :'( I don't wanna change classes! Nonetheless, I'm gonna miss them so much and I'm honestly looking forward to our next outing (I have no idea when lol) ^^ Hipsters 4 life AH-OOOOOOOOO!!

Well though camp has ended, I guess the next few big things for me on my list would be upcoming church events. I really don't regret joining 3 comms (1 for Mercy, 1 for Sisters Retreat ,1 for Church Camp Games) because I do wanna try them out. Don't get me wrong ok, I really wanna serve and I enjoy planning but I think I'm just a little tired because suddenly I feel bombarded with so many things. Youths are gonna put up an item for Good Friday, MelChew and I are kinda in-charge, and well we haven't had a single practice and the only time left is this Sunday. I don't know lah, I think I'm physically tired already. Maybe because I've been going out everyday also oops! Hahaha. Jesus, strength please! And help me always remember that we are serving for You and all the glory is for You and You alone! :)

FMSFBC2014 IS OVER!! :(

Guys, FBC camp is officially over and I'm having so much post-camp withdrawal symptoms.. This was my first time being a SL and I'm super thankful I got to be part of the best tribe (in my opinion) POMPEII KIA POMPEII HUAT!

To the Pompeii SLs: 
Wow, I can't believe we got through this camp together! I think each of us grew as a leader and stepped up when we had to, and I believe this is what we were called to do. Thank you for all the times we had dance practices/GMs, it sure was one insane period (in a good way of course) with all those booty-shaking and selfie moments, not to forget cikgu Asyraf's dance tutorials 101! Also, our cheers were sweedog, we came up with legit cheers as a team and I really really love our cheers! Also our Pompeii ships, wah, we need to maintain, our harbour not enough space haha! Truthfully speaking, when I first signed up for FBC, I was initially a little hesitant coming for the meetings because I thought I would dread it since the commitment level was rather high. But then when I started to come for practices and got to know each of you more, I looked forward to each time I came for meetings and I think that's what makes this experience of being part of Pompeii more worthwhile. I would love to thank each of you individually but I don't have time hah! Good job to the video team, you guys blew the minds of all of us and I'm so in love with our video! To the art d, our flag was the prettiest flag I've ever seen! Pomcheer, well we're awesome and our cheers were the best and we won for best cheers so yay us hahaha! Hopefully we'll be able to see each other around school more then we can go crazy again! I wouldn't want to trade any other tribe for our tribe! Pompeii is gonna have a special place in my heart from now on, thanks for this experience guys! <3 (PS, i've got too much feels too many words to say but yes i really love pompeii loads)

Before I forget, welcome to FMS haha! :) Thank you for giving Mich/Shin/Fir and I this opportunity to be your SLs! I hope you guys had loads of fun during camp and I'm pretty sure you all have made friends whom you'll say hi to in school (I hope ah hahahah) and feel free to shout at either of us a loud 'HELLOOOO' when you see us around school! This was a freshmen bonding camp so I really hope you guys continue to stay bonded as a subtribe! We did take a little while to warm up on the first day but that's pretty much the norm. What amazes me was how you all were open to talk to each other when you first met and comparing that to the last day, when you guys stayed back to talk to us even if it meant waiting for about an hour. You guys are the only subtribe who did that ok, so it really meant a lot to Shin/Mich and I! Thank you for going all out during games and cheers and all our weird talks during meals like wood hahaha! Continue to have fun going crazy on WA and hopefully we can try to meet up once before school starts! Love you all loads :) VETTI FULL STRENGTH, HYIAK!

Anyway, apart from everything about FBC, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY FAVOURITE TWINS BEN & JOE! Yes, you 2 are my favourite pair of twins and I think the only pair of twins I talk to hahah! 19 years old already, last year of being teenagers because next year the big 2.0 will come!
