Hello guys! Haven't updated this space in quite sometime, and I'm finally done with all the camps this June! Being involved in both the retreats the past week was super fulfilling but now that's they are over, it feels so empty :( plus I think I'm gonna have major withdrawal symptoms from the camp games comm group haha!

Sisters' Retreat was last Friday to Saturday, yes it was only a 1 day 1 night retreat because we were super pressed for time this year. But well better to have a short retreat than to just scrap it right! Thank God everything went smoothly and the whole time we seemed to be eating haha! Thank God for the potluck dinner, everyone brought scrumptious food and I'm pretty sure I went into a food coma for a short while haha! The workshop by Amanda was awesome, really got me thinking about how I should love everyone even if it may be difficult. Really need God to help me with this :( Games went fine as well, a little sad the weather was kinda gloomy... But oh well, this was my first SR and also my first time being part of the SR comm! Good experience and I'm looking forward to next year's SR already!
 lol pumping air mattresses
 potluck dinner~~~
burger king lunch~~~ so much eating i cannot take it

BSC Camp Encountering God 2014. I don't even know where to start! Ok, advance party. My family was part of the committee this year, so we had to go up first to settle refreshments and set up the place. This meant heading to the supermarket in Malacca and just piling the trolley with biscuit tins and lots of coffee tea milo haha! I think the Malaysians queueing behind us may have thought we were stalking up for the haze or something hahaha! Headed to Jonker Street at night for some chendol and shopping, was a really good experience with the advance party! Yeohs' and Wongs' and Aunty Louisa squeezed into a 3 bedroom apartment for one night, super crazy but so much fun as well!
 tangkak beef noodles!
 lift selfie with advance party!
Well, to my camp games comm, or as we call ourselves Titer (the math symbol hahaha) - I really have withdrawal symptoms from you guys! I can't thank God enough for being in this year's games comm because we've all bonded over the span of the past 2 months ++ and throughout camp. The whole planning span has been a blast because we're just so crazy, always laughing and being retarded! Really proud all our games went as planned and to manage this huge camp group as compared to the other years is really a challenge! We can pat ourselves on our shoulders because this year's games were awesome (as heard from the feedback from the camp) and everyone had loads of fun laughing! Still feels kinda surreal that we've already ended camp and all our games meetings are no longer gonna happen :( But I'm really super proud of us and I can't ask for a better games comm! Plus all our inside jokes and secrets hehehehe ;)
To my dearest DG, thanks for everything! It may not be full strength but glad that most of us could make it for camp! Really blessed to be part of this DG and I'm so thankful we are all comfortable with one another! Thank you for the mini surprise as well, since Thursday I've been filled with surprises from the pre-birthday celebration to coming to my room at midnight and at yf again! And to the youths, thanks for celebrating my 18th birthday with me at midnight! Sorry I was really tired and groggy, I couldn't take it I had to sleep haha but really touched that all of you came up and ate my birthday cake too hehe! And to my parents & Aunty Poh Suan & Uncle Richard & Grandaunty & Granduncle who came over as well to my room and buying the huge banana chocolate cake from Secret Recipe (which is like my favourite cake!!) I'm really touched :') It was a simple birthday celebration but the company was really warm and nice :)
ian's face hahahaha

Well, this has been a really long post. I need to go and sleep now. I shall update this space tomorrow when I have the time again. Camp comm + Games comm gonna have dinner next Saturday I'm so excited! Looking forward to next Saturday. Plus, Jasmine and Joe are gonna stayover so yayyyy party time! Hehe ok goodnight :-)

hello friends! well, 7th week of sem 2.2 has ended and we're just a week away from the holidays!

i think the past week has really been challenging physically and emotionally. we had to submit our feature writing assignment and i felt that it was really difficult for me because i had some trouble coming up with captivating sentences.. however submitting it was obviously a huge burden off my chest! i also had a japanese test on Friday, and by the way japanese IS class is over! no more having to go to school on fridays anymore yay~~~ ok so for my test, the teacher only gave us the katakana chart the previous time and a lot of us failed. however for the last re-test, she gave us a hiragana chart as well which is like WHAT ALL ANSWERS MACHIAM GIVEN AWAY! plus, my jap oral test went awesome as well so friday was just 'blessed cheryl' day haha! thank You so much Jesus!

the weekend was spent in church yay! i love church so much :) can't remember if i mentioned this previously, but i find myself looking forward to church more as each week passes and it's just amazing! i'm believing that Jesus is working something in my life, something so mindblowing and that i'm just gonna be so richly blessed! spent the weekend tying up loose ends for the sisters' retreat as well as church camp games! really excited for next week, it's definitely gonna be an enjoyable week being with the whole church and just immersing in God's presence! :)
hahaha i got a selfie stick!
super proud to be part of games comm

sunday night was spent with the hipsters (minus Daryl...) and it was a great start to another week of school! it was kinda like a belated birthday dinner for XJ and we headed to Saveur for dinner! it was so good, that's gonna be one of my favourite restaurants now on! had some duck main course, and all 4 of us had the same thing hah! well i think he was utterly shocked when we gave him the blazer because he didn't expect, his eyes were like o.o hahah! guess all of us are really really happy he loves the present because we spent like hours trying to find it.. and then yesterday when we passed him the CD, after casually asking him if the CD design was nice and when he flipped over to read the details of the CD cover he was super shocked again hahah! those eyes were once again like O.O but yup blessed birthday you 4 hao :-)
Spent my afternoon having lunch at SMU yay I love SMU pasta! It has been a good day, God is faithful, we're halfway through the week woohoo!~~~
