Sups my friends~~~ 3.5 more weeks till the end of the semester! I can't believe time is passing by so quickly, I'm already almost halfway into my poly life! :o

Well, I've had a pretty eventful week last week, productive I would say. Went to watch Lisa's showchoir performance 2 Sundays ago with games comm, it's like a Singapore Glee competition and kudos to everyone who performed :) And they had a photobooth there woohoo! I love photobooths and photographs so :-)
Watched Sound of Music last Sunday with my mum and Lisa, the children are so adorable and I really admire their acting! (Suddenly reminded of 1 Tim 4:12 - Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young... (just the first half of the verse) ) It's an awesome musical, not like the usual ones I watch, but it's worth the money and time to go catch it and it's even more 'relatable' if you grew up with it! :) The nuns singing and chanting almost put me to sleep though, you know how they sing and some parts are a little slow but yups that's Sound of Music for me :) And after that we had a 9.45pm dinner HAHAHA last customers of Ajisen Ramen that night!
Went for lunch with Boon on Saturday. Since I wanted to eat cheap food (which would mean at a coffeeshop), he brought me to this duck shop at Serangoon opposite Nex. I tell you, this is gonna be my favourite duck rice shop in Serangoon now. The portion is big (just look at the amount of rice they give..) and the duck is not hard everything is just yumssss! But you have to wait a short while because I think there'll be queues.. Oh and some nights I come back late and just tell my parents I'm not eating dinner at home. However I've discovered the joy of waiting till 8pm at AMK Hub for food. You see, when it comes to a certain time, some shops tend to discount their food in order to hurry clear it. It's a cheap thrill for me because I love food and there are discounts hahaha!
yucks idk why this photo is so blur but yum yum :)

Went skating on Monday with games comm and Ben and Lisa (no they weren't extras in case you thought that way haha, it's just easier to just call them games comm). It was an exhaustingly exciting day out! Go try skating with your friends, it's really enjoyable. All of them can skate so well and so fast, then there's me. And I fell down because I asked Joe to pull me more quickly and I ended up ramming into the wall HAHAH! Poor us also had to walk around JEM many times trying to find a place for lunch because there were queues everywhere! :( Finally settled for Sushi Express yum yum :) Headed to Jasmine's place and after her countless snapchats of her dog, we finally got to meet Heidi! She's super cute lah :) Well thanks for the amazing day guys! Can't wait for the next time we go out again!
Went to develop my second batch of film last week too. Didn't turn out as what I desired it to be so kinda bumped about it :( Will be uploading it soon! Till then, see y'all around! :)

In Y2, there's no more "hell week" because every week is "hell week" so I guess I'm right to say we have "hell year" in Y2 right? Hahaha... I'm honestly exhausted from all the work already. There's at least 1 submission due every week, and I just really need strength!

Amidst the crazy school workload, I'm thankful for my Hipsters! Had my birthday lunch with them 2 weekends back and we had Lao Beijing buffet which was just awesome because we ordered like 15 trays of XLBs and sat there for a whole 2 hours just eating non-stop! And then I tried out my first real pool game, 2 bucks only at Cine cheap or what right hahaha! Then we just played arcade games till the sun set~~~ They surprised me this week on Monday by putting a pair of sneakers in my bag while I was gone and I'm really surprised with it, it's a Vans Beatles sneakers and the prints on the shoes are really really cute! And they made me a scrapbook filled with so many sweet messages and memories, I almost teared reading them! You tell me, am I blessed or am I blessed to have them in my life? I know you may think I'm crazy, talking about them almost in each of my post but you have no idea how grateful I am to them - they are the genuine ones I can rely on in this crazy hectic course and I really hope our friendship will withstand the test of time and we can all grow old together~~~ Yippee haha.
yups boon shaved his head during Hair for Hope!
Attended this tall guy's POP last Sunday and it was pretty enjoyable! Just watching the graduation ceremony itself was interesting but the human jam after that was horrible and I don't know why people say the smell will kill you but I thought it was alright, maybe my nose has problems haha! From being 'Joe's friend' to now like an elder brother to me, I thank God you've come into our lives! Yay looking forward to our Friday lunch :) Headed to Habitat Coffee with the twins after that, it was really a race against time because the cafes open only at 10.30am and church started at 11am so in the end, I had to take away my food and eat it in church :( But it's really nice! Can't wait to go Wheeler's Yard with them soon! :-)
Lisa's having a concert this Sunday and for the first time ever I'm gonna watch her perform on stage! This girl sure has the talent in singing and dancing and I'm sure she's gonna be a star during her performance! Not to mention her best friend Jasmine, and Joe and Nat, ok the entire games comm lol, are gonna watch her to! Exciting~~~

Okay, I think I shall stop here and go do my work now. I really need to get some work done :( Bye!

I haven't blogged for so long BOOOO :-( So, first week of school after the holidays is over! Hmm, guess it's pretty alright. I shared with my DG on how I have loads of work to do but I don't feel that pressured and I'm kinda slack about it, it's like I do my part but then I don't know if I'm too slack because even during this busy period, I'm going to sleep at like 10+ at night when my friends are sleeping way later... Oh well, this could be a good thing after all haha!

Anyway I haven't done a proper birthday post so here it goes~~~ Thank You Jesus for giving me 18 years! I think I'm truly blessed with the people in my life - Joe (love him for doing these mini surprises, like last year it was the balloon at my stairs & it happened during the intense haze period!!) who planned this really simple surprise during camp along with our families and my grandaunt+granduncle haha, and to my DG who are so sweet they gave me surprises during and after camp, as well as my other friends who wished me and all! Had a June lunch with the best pest, really thankful to have her in my life! I think sometimes we expect a lot for our birthdays, but I think the best birthdays are the simplest birthdays :)

Had camp comm dinner last Saturday and it was madness! We, as in the youths AND adults, played dance central HAHAHA! It was just hilarious watching the adults dance and see them really let loose as compared to their serious selves in church... Then the twins stayed over and we watched 2 tragic dog movies and let's just say real men cry lah heehee.
camp comm + games comm 2014 (missing Jasmine & Uncle Christmas!)
Really gonna try to blog more regularly from now onwards, or at least that's what I tell myself every time I blog hah! Oh oh! I'm heading to Cambodia in September woohooo~~~~ Going there for a Youth Expedition Programme under my school, but I don't know which district we're heading to. Great news, Geena is also going so it's like a Cambodia reunion! (We were buddies the entire trip so it'll be awesome going back there together once more!) And the entire Hipsters group will be going as well so I'm foreseeing it to be a crazy trip! But it'll be 2 weeks away from home, so I really don't know whether I'll get homesick.. Oh well, hang in there guys! We're about 2 months away from holiday! :-)
