Hey guys! Sigh pie I haven't been updating for quite a few days sorry :( Let's just say I've been enjoying my holidays a lot! Hehe :) I hope you have been having fun too!

So anyway, last Wednesday I went to watch the finale of The Final 1. I must admit that Singapore really has local talent, but sadly it's hard to break into the music industry here. Nonetheless, the contestants were really awesome! They sing so well :) Someday I'll have a successful music career and go on stage to sing too so just stay tune and slowly wait for me to be famous haha! Natasha Bedingfield came to perform too, I KNOW RIGHT, ALL THE WAY HERE JUST FOR THIS :O I couldn't believe my eyes! Needless to say, her performance was really fantastic!

Had a mini jamming session with XJ and Megan today! It was a really great time just sitting down, admiring the landscape of Singapore as we sang worship songs! Yes, we obviously took pretty photos! It was so amazing, because when we first reached it rained for a short while then it stopped! Once we went out and just started singing, it didn't rain! On the other hand, it was hot hot hot! There were really dark clouds but we just kept singing and singing, maybe that's why God held the rain and pushed it to another area! It's like the dark clouds just flew past us! So thank God that we managed to have that short time of praise :) Met up with a small group of Hellictus after that and it was great catching up! I do miss them :(
You know I was just thinking. I am actually really blessed to have the talent of playing musical instruments. I used to be afraid to sing in front of other people, much less for music ministry in front of the mic. But over the past few months, I began to know for myself that when we sing, we sing for Christ. I'm not singing for him or her, but I'm singing and glorifying the One who gave me this voice. Thus, I began to sing more. I know my voice isn't that great, but I just feel so blessed to be able to sing and play music for Him! Plus, it's really uplifting! Side note, worship is a time between you and Jesus so don't be afraid to do whatever you want - if you want to lift up your hands, just do it! If you want to stand and jump, just go don't scared! To all aspiring musicians out there: you may feel the same way as me, sometimes scared to sing because you're not good enough. But just want to encourage you, you may not be good enough for the world, but you're good enough for God! 2 Corinthians 5:9 says, So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please Him. We should all aim to please God in everything that we do yeah!

Ok goodnight guys I wanna sleep it has been a long but wonderful day~~~
feel so proud of myself i braided brennan's hair hehe ^^
little chats now but when we meet, it's like nothing has changed :')
12 cupcakes oh please feel the love

Time for story! So, I went to East Coast Park to chill with mah friends today and it was really an achievement unlocked! We cycled for 4 hours (with pit stops in between of course..) from ECP all the way to Changi Airport + Changi Village! I have never ever cycled so much in my entire life, and I think we could have possibly cycled a good 20km! Initially when we first reached the park, it was kind of hazy but I'm ULTRA THANKFUL that God decided to blow them away with His strong winds! It rained on us, but it felt so good to cycle/play in the rain! (Very good for emo moment, the tears stream down slowly as the raindrops fall upon you lol) I think what was amazing was our perseverance. We kept on cycling along this really long road that seemed never-ending, and trust me, it was so exhausting! But despite that, we all wanted to reach the end-point (Changi Village) and when we did, THAT FEELING OF ACCOMPLISHMENT WAS FANTASTIC! Obviously, us being us, we stopped to eat and drink. Cycling back seemed really fast though. Lepaked by the beach for a short while after our time was up. At the end of the day, the rained stopped and again, it's another miracle of His because the clouds were really dark yet the rain was gone! Okay, my thighs and butt are aching terribly now so I should go rest soon :)
beginning looking good
rain only, no fear

4h cycling = accomplished!

Hey guys! How has the start of your week been? Hope it has been manageable so far! :) My weekend was totally a w e s o m e! Last Friday went to Nex to have buffet with mah friends, I can't believe we sat there for 3 hours barbecuing meat, eating prawns and veg and bowls of ice cream! Following that, we played catching -.- I know you must be thinking, so big already 17/18 years old still running around shopping malls playing childish games, but trust me, it was such a fun time doing so hah! Guess sometimes we all just have to let lose and be a child again.
Saturday was spent at IG, felt so good to just jam with my friends and learn new songs! That said, please go and listen to Bring Me The Night - Sam Tsui & Kina Grannis. It's so beautiful :') IG was really fun, we had Pastamania for tea and M&S goodies from Nat yay ^^ We shouldn't be the music ig anymore, we should be the music-food ig because we're forever taking time to eat instead of play music lol! Since Donovan got his driver's licence, we went a road trip after ig and he drove us around super cool! I wanna drive too, once I turn 18 I'll go learn ;) Had Adrian's wedding rehearsal yesterday and I'm proud to say I'm in a band! Maybe the others don't really consider us as a band, but for me I believe I'm in a band haha! We only have 2/3 more practices till the actual day and it kinda scares me :o Nonetheless, I know we're gonna have so much fun, excited kid here! ^^

My junior sent me a photo of our polaroid she brought to New Zealand and I must say, just that photo alone brought back so many memories. I don't know if she'll ever come across this but I just want to say that I really thank God for her. We were super close, you can say she was my best friend because I trusted her so much and we strangely bonded a lot despite the awkward beginning (i'll save that story for another day). Though we had that fight last year I'm glad we're still close, updating each other with our lives once every 2 weeks or so haha! Study hard little kiddo, you can do it xx ^^
ok & this is just some lady's hand i came across on tumblr, and i love the 'aloha' so <3

Hello guys! I've been away for quite some time whoops, too busy playing haha now that I'm OFFICIALLY ON HOLIDAY! I really want to thank God for bringing me through the first sem of poly life. It has been challenging at times, but it has been enjoying to go through all the nonsense with my friends! Completed my final assignment yesterday, and it was such a relief to slip the envelope into my teacher's pigeon hole, FINALLY! Through this sem, I'm super thankful to have made friends whom I can really go crazy with, go and eat loads of food with, and pour out my thoughts to :) You guys have been amazing!

So, Tim is going into the army later and can I just say that TIME IS PASSING TOO QUICKLY?! Spent last night having the monthly dinner with the group, and Tim just had to make us watch The Conjuring. Of all movies, that show. I personally don't like watching horror shows, because I know I have a weak heart but well, he promised he's gonna buy me a jacket so I watched haha! I closed my eyes 3/4 of the time and shut my ears. If you were there, you'll laugh at how I 'watched' the show. I think the show is pretty good actually, the build-up to the climax is scary though, the ending is manageable. The make up was wow.. With that said, I CONQUERED THE CONJURING AND INSIDIOUS! I think these 2 shows are major horror shows for me lol... Oh oh side track! The lead actor in Insidious, Patrick Wilson, who plays Ed in The Conjuring, ACTED IN PHANTOM OF THE OPERA AS RAOUL! I just found out this morning and I'm mindblown! I knew there was something familiar about his face, but just couldn't figure out what was familiar haha!
It was a good night spent with them nonetheless. All the best in the army Tim, when you come out we'll go have dinner again hehe!
What has been going on in my life the past week:
1. Sister's birthday
2. Last class
3. Doing radio and completing radio

Yesterday on the way to school, I decided to just spend time reading God's word. It was super calming lah! I listened to Christian music while reading it, and spent a good half hour reading Philippians. I think I really treasure long bus rides now, because you have time to be alone in solitude with no one else talking to you and immerse yourself into the Bible. Reading Philippians really kept me thinking/feeling, how I want to have more courage and be fearless when I share the gospel. Sometimes I'm sure we do fear we say the wrong things or we get rejected, or like if we invite our friends to church and they don't want to come we also feel sad. But in Paul's case, he stood firm in the gospel, he knew he was a fighter for Christ! And nothing can stop him, even if it meant landing him in prison. We should all aim to be like Paul yeah! I'm making this my prayer - Philippians 1:9-10 "And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ". May we continue to grow more in Christ each day :)

Hi guys! How has your week been so far? If you've been studying hard and feeling so stressed out, don't be because the long weekend is here! Sigh pie, should have taken this opportunity to go to Bangkok but we didn't book tickets :( It's alright, gonna be spending time with my family! I've been spending my time at home watching The Big Bang Theory. My goodness, it's so hilarious! Think I'm gonna be spending my time catching up on tv series this holiday :)
so thankful for YAH proud to have my bodyguards :)

HOLIDAY LIAO LOR!! Time to party! :) So I'm done with all of my assignments! Okay not all, I'm just left with Radio but oh well, that one sure can do! Really thankful I did my best for all the assignments. Even over the weekends, my groupmates and I met up to do work and I believe all the hard effort put in will surely pay off! Been spending loads of time with my friends and it's so crazy hanging out with them! :) Really gonna miss them when we 'break-up' the next sem..

So I went for youth on Saturday. Had a mini workshop on the cross of Christ. There were focuses on the rejection of God, Jesus' last words, the Lord's Supper and more. I guess what really struck me was the bread (symbol of Jesus' body) and wine (symbol of Jesus' blood). How many of us actually remember the true symbolism of the bread and wine? It may seem like a ritual to take the communion every Sunday/once out of 4 Sundays a month, but do we really have a remembrance of Christ dying for us? He died, all for the forgiveness of sins. In 1 Corinthians 11:26, it states that when we take the Holy communion, we should 'proclaim' Christ's death. Proclaiming, in a way, is like a celebration. We need to always remember that Christ dying for us is a celebration, because it is through Him that we have 'new lives'. The life and death of Christ is ALL important, it shows how the Kingdom of God is here, how His Kingdom looks like (life of Jesus) and what allows us to enter (through His death). A question I thought of really hit me, who am I that God should've died for me? This thought has been replaying in my mind the past few days and hopefully it can be something for all of us to think about! :)

My Speech/SocPsy teacher's leaving tomorrow to go back to Chicago. She has taught me so much and I'm really thankful to have gotten her as my teacher! She's one of the funniest and most interactive teachers I've ever come across! Gonna miss her bubbly personality and the 'Friday' song (yeah our class plays it every Friday...). Since the semester has ended, wanna thank T108 for being such an awesome class! No doubt we have those moments when we got upset about groupings, but I truly believe we were one of the most 'on' classes, having dress-code days almost once a week and having our own inside jokes! It's been a blessing to have met each one of you! :)
SOCPSY SOCPSY (-3) WE OWNED IT
SPEECH COMM SPEECH COMM WE OWNED IT thank you ms rebecca :)

HO MAI GUYS! HELL WEEK IS OVERRR! I am firstly super uber thankful to God for bringing me through this week. For the benefit of those of you who don't know, my class went through the hardest week of the semester. I (or most of us) had 4/6 assignments due this week, the major crazy ones like IS/Marcomm/Gracomm and Speech! It was insane! My diary had all the datelines written down in it, and now I can finally cancel them off! Marcomm went fine and I'm just really proud of my group! This marketing project started since the start of our poly journey, so you can say we spent a good 3 months on it! Gracomm has also been really good! Super thankful for my group, we're so crazy and always just having fun :) Even though sometimes there are oppositions during the discussions, I enjoy those opposition moments hah! My speech also went fine, I really want to thank God for this! We had to do this speech on any topic we wanted, and my group did on PSLE. There were oppositions as well, but those opposing moments are the memories I'm really going to take along with me for life. Everything went so smoothly, teachers liked it (I hope) and some of my friends did tell me that my group was good! Really thank you Jesus thank you thank you!! Hopefully can get A/B+ hehe :) Had dinner with a few of my classmates after to wrap up the hectic week.

This has been a really challenging week, with breakdowns and not much sleep, but I believe that it's through these hardships that really make us trust Jesus more! I mentioned in an earlier post, on how I wanted to let Jesus lead me this week, in a way, learning to rely on Him more and less on myself. This really worked and I can tell you, God is just proving to be such a wonderful Father more and more as I count more on Him! Now, I feel like I have a mission = to bring Christ to my closer friends in poly! Must pray more hehe :)

Okay, it's time for me to catch up on some sleep. I am exhausted. But this has been one awesome week. Love my friends xoxo! :)
