Hi my friends! Sorry I haven't really been updating, been really busy with school and I fell sick last week! :( That crazy weekend really took a lot out of me and my parents just concluded I fell ill because of that weekend.

School has been good so far! I've got an assignment/presentation due this Thursday and we only had about 1 week to prepare for it, CRY ME A RIVER. Quite excited for school these days, I think it's largely because of the company haha! I have really funny friends who really crack me up :) But I'm also enjoying the modules (so far...) heh heh heh. Ooh, I got into tennis for my sports & wellness so yay! Finally, after watching games of tennis for I don't even know how many years, I'm finally learning the sport! Someday, I will play with Nadal lol! But really, I'm so excited to learn tennis, because I'll understand the game better and now I can also play leisure games with my dad/friends!
Just wanna share this song by Avalon, it's called 'Everything To Me'. To me, lyrics speak a lot. Sometimes I find myself doing devotions just by listening to songs and meditating on the lyrics and well, this is 1 song I absolutely love! It's beautiful so go listen to it and if you succeed in learning how to sing this song (it's difficult cos it keeps going higher) I applaud you lol! But yeah, maybe I'm gonna try to learn it and see if I can perform this song with my friends for Christmas! The lyrics are very meaningful, and pretty self-explanatory so just read it :)

I grew up in Sunday school,
I memorized the Golden Rule,
And how Jesus came
To set the sinner free
I know the story inside-out,
And I can tell you all about
The path that led Him up
To Calvary...
But ask me why He loves me,
And I don't know what to say
But I'll never be the same,
Bacause He changed my life when He became

Everything to Me
He's more than a story,
More than words on a page of history
He's the Air that I breathe,
The Water I thirst for,
And the Ground beneath my feet
He's Everything
Everything to Me

We're living in uncertain times,
And more and more, I find
That I'm aware of just
How fragile life can be
I want to tell the world I've found
A love that turned my life around
They need to know
That they can taste and see
Now everyday, I'm praying
Just to give my heart away
I want to live for Jesus
So that someone else might see that He is

Everything to Me
He's more than a story,
More than words on a page of history
He's the Air that I breathe,
The Water I thirst for,
And the Ground beneath my feet
Oh, He's Everything

And looking back over my life at the end,
I'm gonna meet You,
Saying You've been
Everything to Me
You're more than a story,
More than words on a page of history.

You're Everything to Me
You're more than a story,
More than words on a page of history
You're the Air that I breathe,
The Water I thirst for,
And the Ground beneath my feet
You're Everything
Lord, You're Everything to Me

Thank you Jesus for an amazing weekend! It was really an awesome weekend :)

Saturday was PL Funfair 2013, so I headed back to my PL home with the gang. This funfair happens only once every 10 years so you can count like how many batches before mine came back, so many unfamiliar and unrecognisable faces! But I really thank God for placing me in PL. Still recalled how I was that 1/2 dsa kid who came in with no friends when the rest of the cohort came together from the primary school. Was super happy to see the gang again, and can I say just how much I miss the hugs :( The highlight of the funfair was definitely the bouncy castle HAHAH! There were 2 gigantic bouncy castles and let's just say when you go in, there's no turning back lol! Give 8 girls a bouncy castle and just expect chaos, really. Went nuts with the gang in there, pushed everyone around and jumped around like a bunch of monkeys! My sec 4 form teacher even took photos and I'm pretty sure she took a video of us as well haha! It was a really great day of catching fun and going crazy with J8 after a long time~~~
love gift from our batch hor

Sunday was an amazing day out also, ok afternoon out haha! Chionged down from church with Joe to the SEA Aquarium because his mum had 2 tickets (thank you so much hehehe ^^)! Not really a huge fan of fishes or marine animals (or crowds even) but was extremely amazed with the variety of fishes! There are like a thousand over fishes and the aquarium is really very VERY big! Got to touch starfishes and some other kind of fish :) Saw pretty & cute jellyfishes, smiley angel-like stingrays, sharks, dory, seahorses and many others! It's a cool place to go to when there isn't any crowd and when you can slowly take your own sweet time to admire the fishes!
we saw giraffes in the aquarium too! :o

I think I was more excited to go to USS lol, so yup we did go there because we have the student pass oh yeah~ The roller coasters were under renovation sigh pie, and just as we were going into the transformers ride entrance they had a delay and had to shut down -.- ended up taking kiddy rides lol! But we had super fun chasing after the characters (or more like i ran ahead and he chased after me like i was some small kid lol) and we managed to take with 10 over characters! Not bad right :)
lol grover ah why so cute! ^^
haha! ernie pushed him aside, but awwwwwww :)

Welcome everybody (ok just to poly students) back to school! It's day 2 with a new class and I must say it has been really awesome so far! New friends, new environment (since they just build a new block in NP), new modules, God is really working out something special this semester! I think so far the 2 modules that I really enjoy (apart from the dry theory parts..) are Location Production & Digital Photography! These 2 modules make use of cameras, which is something that really interests me! Pretty hands-on as well so we get to play with the cool (expensive) equipment! Got to explore campus and take some random shots as well. Hmm, now I'm contemplating whether I should get my own DSLR.

I really love NP because they gave us a holiday on Monday and tomorrow my class is cancelled so I GET TO SLEEP IN AGAIN! Sorry, being a complete pig these days. I think I better enjoy the slack poly life while I can, if not when the assignments start flooding in, this place will be kinda dead lol! Looking forward for more pictures with the rest of my classmates!

Photography can only represent the present. Once photographed, the subject becomes part of the past.

欢迎我回来美丽和非常热的新加坡! Lol my chinese is so horrible now! I'm even struggling a little to speak a proper sentence! I have disappointed my tutor sighs.. Anyway, I'm finally back home in humid Singapore! I've actually been back since Monday last week but had really bad jet lag. I've been sleeping for 3 hours every evening, sleeping at night and waking up at 4am every morning. It's getting better already but still so tired every evening :(

Coming back home feels great, haven't seen my family in 2 weeks & just being back and being able to speak to them everyday really reminds me of how important they are to me. This trip has really made me more independent because I had to travel around on my own and make my own decisions outside. I would say brave as well since I had to ask strangers for directions (but Hawaiians are super friendly too..) and also start conversations with them haha! Now, I get a glimpse of what it's like to live abroad alone (minus my family lah..) lol! Nonetheless, I had SO MUCH FUN! Bought so many clothes, shoes, LOADS OF FOOD, souvenirs, wallets, hairclips, water bottles lol... A fulfilling trip :) Thank God for journey mercies and safety throughout this trip and that I didn't lose any valuables haha! When I was outside, I constantly checked my bag to see whether anything went missing and I could get rather paranoid haha! Missing Hawaii already and as cheesy as this sounds, I really think about it at least once everyday! *cue sentimental music*
with grandma at Narita airport eating awesome ramen~~~

the best air-stewards! Ms Satomi & Mr Mids (i think i spelt their name wrongly but that's the pronunciation...) they were really awesome, super friendly & they thought we were locals (as in local Hawaiians so that made me happy x100000) & they gave us (only my grandma & i ok) can drinks before touchdown, so thoughtful!
