Gosh, I'm tired of going out. Does that sound weird? Hah! I really love going out and spending time chilling with my friends catching up on life with them, but I'm getting bored of the usual lepak places. We are forever going to town and forever going to the same few shops (SMU pasta is a huge exception!). Thankfully next week I'm gonna go for a picnic, something different yay! :)

Headed to town (again, see my point?) on Thursday with the bimbo! We wanted to save money and go to some heartland instead of going to boring town but in the end we were like, meh, go town lah. Had Koh Grill & Sushi Bar for lunch, and we ordered too much food hahaha! Spent like $45 bucks for the both of us, but I must say the portion is really big and because Jap food consists of noodles/rice so it's really filling... Not bad I must say :) Had a shopping spree with the girl and we got $10 shades hahaha cheap thrills, plus it's pretty ok! Really thank God that even though this short meet-up was pretty impromptu, we had an awesome time catching up and shopping! Btw, went for an interview too, and we waited for the lift for 5 mins (?!) because the lift was under maintenance or something then it stopped like on every level haha! And we walked down 11 flights of stairs after that because the lift took too long... Can't wait to meet the rest of J8 soon! :)
shiok-maki! super filling
have to say, this is my fav photo :) we got our shades on the spot and decided to wear them haha!

Had youth yesterday again and I must say that I really look forward to the weekends! It's the time to get back and have fellowship with the youths learning what the Word has in store for us :) We did the story on Abraham having to sacrifice Isaac and it got me thinking - how did Abraham have so much trust in God? Background: Isaac was given to Abraham & Sarah at an old age and now God wanted Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, a precious gift? He must have really had A HUGE LOAD OF FAITH while doing so, and he definitely entrusted his anxieties to God. I think he also knew that God would keep his covenant lah, thus he just did what he was told to. But what really amazes me is his faith - that everything would be okay and God will eventually provide.
dg refreshments! this is the prettiest refreshments ever~
