For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food,
For love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
Attempting to start writing a blog again, and I was inspired by a few of my friends to open one! So I must say, life has been good, if not great! Prior to going poly, I was afraid of certain things. Things such as: can I find friends, will I be able to fit in, what if my clothes aren't good enough & MORE.. But now that we're already into 6 weeks of poly (YES 6 WEEKS ALREADY & TIME IS FLYING LIKE NOBODY'S BUSINESS), I am super ultra thankful that my anxieties and worries have been put to ease because of God.True, FMS students have truckloads of assignments and everything seems to be graded (pretty sure the same goes for other courses and schools). But being a FMS student has helped me open my eyes to many new and interesting 'revelations' in that sense. I have learnt quite a fair bit of things and surprisingly, it interests me! Work aside, I truly thank God for placing Christian friends in my life, poly friends who are Christians and are able to understand my perspectives and views on issues. When I share with these friends testimonies (be it personal or from other people) and songs for worship, I feel hyped up! It's like I'm energised just talking about God and I think this is another surprising thing for me because it makes me want to also know more about God through my friends!
I guess as time goes along, you'll get to know more about me... But until then, stay safe and bye bye (:
